Founded in 1980 in Cany-Barville, Normandy, Polytechs is a French specialty compounder with over 45 years of expertise in the formulation and production of compounds, masterbatches and additive solutions for the polymer industry.
A member of the Global Polymer Solution Group, owned by InvestIndustrial, Polytechs today benefits from a European industrial network while preserving its identity, its Norman expertise and its client proximity.
With 170 employees, 19 production lines including 4 pilot lines, and a nominal capacity of 35,000 tonnes per year, Polytechs serves major polymer producers and processors in the cable, plastic film, offshore pipe, technical compounds and circular economy sectors.
57% of our business is generated internationally, through 15 distributors present across five continents.

POLYTECHS SOLUTIONS
Polytechs Solutions is our toll compounding division. We make our full range of extrusion equipment available to clients (twin-screw extruders up to L/D 52, Buss co-kneaders, PIB/peroxide liquid injection systems) to produce your formulations to specification, from pilot formulation through to industrial-scale production. Our markets: cable manufacturing (XLPE, TPU, PA12, PBT), offshore pipes, technical compounds, petrochemicals and recycling.
POLYTECHS PRODUCTS
Polytechs Products brings together 9 proprietary specialty masterbatch brands with high added value: PW® (surface modification and anti-block agents), SW (slip agents), FX-AID (processing aids), FX-Perox (peroxide masterbatches), XW (blowing agents), CleanX (purging compounds), BioPTX (bio-based solutions). These products are distributed in more than 40 countries.
